Course Overview

The marketing/listing presentation is often the first evidence that a contact has of a real estate appraiser's marketing skills. A contact can decide for or against using a real estate appraiser's services on the basis of this presentation.

A contact will have a better understanding of the market conditions, significant current events and market comparables. Communication between the appraiser and the contact will be improved, leaving less room for error, misunderstanding and lawsuits.

Up until recently, creating such presentations required a skill level beyond many appraisers or required enlisting the services of professionals. With developments in technology, and the general improvement in adoption of technologies by representatives, such presentations can be created by a real estate appraiser after taking this course. Real estate appraisers can determine the applicability of each of these new tools to their own business and will have the skills at course completion to adopt the tools that provide them with a significant competitive advantage.
